Mover 2.0 is now GA

After more than 3 years of continuous development and real-world use, I’m excited to share that Mover 2.0 is now available.

Mover has already helped organisations migrate and/or re-enrol tens of thousands of Windows devices into Workspace ONE UEM, dramatically simplifying what has traditionally been a complex and high-risk process. Whether moving from a legacy MDM or transitioning between Workspace ONE UEM tenants, Mover has consistently enabled seamless, hands-off migrations.

Over time after working with our largest customers and partners (along with some great feedback and help from our Technical Field), I’ve built out a wide range of capabilities to support unique and often challenging customer scenarios. Mover 2.0 was not only rebuilt from the ground up, it is has introduced many more enhancements to improve the Administrator experience.

Some Key Features of Mover 2.0:

  • A dedicated Admin App for configuring and managing migration settings with greater control and visibility
  • An enhanced Lockdown Mode that fully restricts end-user interaction during migration, ensuring consistency and reliability
  • Support for migration from any existing MDM or PCLM tool to Workspace ONE UEM

This release really was about making large-scale device migrations simpler, consistent, and more robust than ever before.

A big shoutout to all of our existing customers and Omnissa Field who helped shape Mover to where it is today.
